HSL have secured a 7 year Dumping at Sea and Foreshore License on behalf of Malahide Marina. The license is a multi dredge campaign license and was critical to keeping the harbour open. Dredging took place in January of this year. Van Oord used their water injection dredge MV Odin for the works over a 24 hour period.
Securing the license involved over 12 months of application process and involved two sediment sampling campaigns a Natura Impact Statement.
